Jacquelyn Moses is a student of the Herbal Academy and been practicing her craft for 5 years. She has a deep respect of nature and is a lover of our vibrant and diverse local plant community. Jacquelyn is a forager, wildcrafted, herbalist and constantly in awe of what nature has to offer. With so many beneficial herbs on the central Coast Jacquelyn spots them while out hiking or running. She teaches basic herbal classes on topics such as allergies, immunity health, digestion health, sleepless nights and stress-filled days.

Jacquelyn became interested in native herbs after her children began developing allergies that doctors couldn’t seem to help with typical medicines. Her love for the local outdoor pharmacy and holistic alternatives seemed to work better and that led her to the Herbal Academy.

She named her Instagram and Facebook page Rowdy Prisoners. It comes from a poem she loved by Hafiz which embodies her perspective that human health is supported by nature and natural plant medicines.
