As an adult, Tink studied at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Art and Design, Suma Cum Laude. As part of this program she studied ten weeks in Thailand where the energy and comfort of Theravada Buddhism and the Thai culture inspired more art.

Since then she’s: created seven murals as gifts to public schools;  painted and sold unmeasured works of art while also participating in San Luis Obispo County’s Open Studios Tours events; started a reading program in schools where her book “Every Puppy Needs… Cada Cachorro Necesita” is gifted to children, teaching children and their care givers animal care in English and Spanish; volunteered as the art director for a San Luis Obispo nonprofit; and encouraged creativity by helping manage art shows at a local senior community.

Today, she lives and creates along the beautiful Central Coast of California. She and her two dogs live in her studio and are continually blessed by family, friends, nature and Spirit.
