Sherrill Nickerson is a graduate of UCSB and has been working for CSC since Oct 2014 as Office and Intake Manager in Santa Barbara. She also conducts small claims court and community mediations and now coaches new intern volunteer mediators.
Maria Seda has a BA in Sociology from Puerto Rico and is the Restorative Justice Coordinator and Facilitator for CSC. She’s responsible for outreach, recruiting and training volunteers and mentees and is passionate about volunteering for her community. She also volunteers for the Alternative for Violence Project.
We discussed how mediation can help with a wide range of disputes such as; family, parent/teen, roommates, neighborhood, business, landlord/tenant, real estate and more.
